(Suwon=Yeonhap News) Reporter Kim Kwang Ho = Kyeonggi Do has claimed that they will establish at least 3 welfare center for the migrant workers before 2006 to enhance the foreign migrant welfare.

Do(道) is planning to open the “Seong Nam Migrant Workers Welfare Center” on September which they have pushed ahead together with the Seong Nam City while supporting 1500 million won.

Seong Nam Welfare Center is going to be built by remodeling the Church in space of 201 pyeong. It will include Korean class for the migrant workers, Korean culture experience, health medical center, cafeteria, computer class and more.

Do retained total 3 thousand million won for the Northern part and Southern part, 2 centers (each 1.5 thousand million won) additionally for the migrant workers. 

The Northern Welfare center is built on the site where a private organization had provided without any payment. This center is scheduled to be opening shortly after final design and construction which will be done at the second part of the 2006. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Do has presented that the area Noh.Sah.Jeong committee and deciding Southern migrant workers welfare center’s land will be done soon and the second part of the years the construction.

Southern Welfare Center will also be opened at the latest at the year(2006) end.
Do is planning to spread out the supports for the migrant workers such as these establishments of the welfare centers with the results of the ‘Effects and the problems with counter plans for the Permission of the foreigner employment’ on the base.

It is apprehended that nowadays there were about 144000 migrant workers working in small business at including AnSan, PoCheon, and HwaSeong.
